Summer Orthodoxy 101 to begin Sunday, May 21st

ORTHODOXY 101 – AN [RE]INTRODUCTION TO ORTHODOXY
Our Summer session of Orthodoxy 101 will begin Sunday, May 21st, after coffee hour. This class will welcome those who desire to learn more about the Orthodox Faith, as well as those who already embrace the Faith, wishing to enhance and enrich their understanding of, and life within, the timeless Orthodox Church. We will be studying the book The Faith by Clark Carlton. On Sunday, May 21st, we will read through the introduction together and watch a short video about Orthodoxy.
Sunday afternoons, 12:30-2:30pm, Beginning Sunday, May 21st

Will discuss such topics as:
The Foundation of the Orthodox Faith, The Holy Trinity, Creation, The Fall of Mankind, The Promised Messiah of Israel, The Incarnation, Man’s “Yes” to God, The Teachings of Christ, Love Stronger than Death, The Birth and Mission of the Church, The Structure of the Church, Holy Baptism, The Seal of the Gift of the Holy Spirit, The Mystical Supper, The Church at Prayer, The Mystery of Love, Monasticism, The Lord’s Return, Living an Orthodox Life in a Secular World.
