Glory to God!

We only have about $8000 left to raise for funding necessary renovations, as well as beautification, and items for the new church! Please consider giving, every little bit helps us to reach our goal!

Here is a list of items that either need to be done or would be nice to have. We will allocate the funds to the highest needs first and then work down to the wants as funds allow.

– Demo and renovate the altar area (demo closets and baptismal pool, move the HVAC system from the closet into the attic, etc.)
– Renovation of the iconostasis to fit the new space
– New flooring
– New lighting
– Change the popcorn ceiling
– A new sign for outside
– A dome to replace the steeple
– New security system
– New cameras
– Networking equipment for Internet coverage throughout the building
– New commercial coffee pot for the kitchen
– Furniture for the classrooms
– A Panikhida memorial tray/table
– Some additional icons
– Processional banners

Funds are certainly a big need to accomplish these things but donating time, materials, and a helping hand are also very welcome. Please reach out to Fr. Chrysostom at [email protected] if you’d like to help.

We Did it! Archangel Gabriel is Moving!

Glory to God, we have some AMAZING news! We have reached our fundraising goal of $75,000 in less than 30 days!! Now we are able to purchase the new building! We are forever grateful to everyone who has contributed to make this dream become a reality! This is an incredible amount of money we have raised in a very short time!

A New Home for Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Christian Church has found a new home! The parishioners of Victorious Messiah in Weatherford have accepted our offer to purchase their current building and grounds.  This facility is more than twice the size of the current lease space and has nearly .75 acres of open space for children to play, additional parking, or future expansion.  Located just east of the Weatherford square, it is ideally situated for future growth.

To see more information about the property along with plenty of pictures, see here: https://txchurch4sale.com/

Our small parish has grown tremendously in the last 18 months and is currently filling up the existing lease space in Azle each weekend. We are seeking to raise $75,000 for additional down payment.  Combined with our current building fund and financing, this money will be the final piece needed to purchase this new property.  **The sellers have given us 45 days to meet this goal and make this potential purchase a reality.**  Please help us in this endeavor.
